CITRA WANITA DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN LAKON DI KOTA KECIL KARYA RATNA INDRASWARI IBRAHIM

During the history of the growth and development of Indonesian literature, the content of Indonesian literary work puts forward the image of Indonesian women in various ways. Most work puts forward the image of Indonesian women in various ways. Most work of Ratna Indraswati Ibrahim take up women's struggle against patriarchal ideology, oppression, rape of human's rights that are stricken down on women. Her works reveal marginalization of women's literature in a stereotype construction of socio domestical strories. The problems move along with the femenism movement. She tries to expose the patriarchal ideology existing up to now through her works. In the collection of short stories Lakon di Kota Kecil she puts forward women in a family and social life, women's position before men, and the extent of public space. There are twenty (20) short stories included in the collection of short stories Lakon di Kota Kecil. All of them are full of women's struggle values in order to return their essence and identity so that they will be considered as humans who are equal to men. This research is aimed to reveal women's image, genre relationship, and patriarchal culture reflected in the collection of short stories Lakon di Kota Kecil written by Ratna Indraswati Ibrahim. The approach used is feminism. The writer carried out the following steps: reading the collection of short stories, identifying, and analyzing data. In the collection of short stories Lakon di Kota Kecil, there can be found eleven (11) of twenty (20) short stories which depict women surrendering to patriarchal culture, whereas the rests (9) fight againts that culture. Genre ideology applied by the figures in the stories can strengthen patriarchal ideology, and rise up injustice of genre relationship. In contrast, the figures fighting against the patriarchal culture will be able to have the justice of genre relationship. From the feminists perspective, in the short stories in the collection of the works, there are several figures that have been released from outside stress to guide life as they need, even as wives, mothers, or carreer women. In addition, it is implied that there is women's struggle to get an acknowledgement that women are equal to men. Sepanjang sejarah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sastra Indonesia, isi karya sastra Indonesia banyak menampilkan citra wanita Indonesia dengan penuh keanekaragaman. Sebagian besar karya Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim mengangkat perjuangan wanita melawan ideologi patriarki, praktik penindasan, perkosaan hak yang ditimpakan pada kaum wanita. Dalam karyanya dikemukakan tentang marginalisasi sastra perempuan dalam konstruksi stereotip cerita-cerita domestik sosial. Masalah tersebut sejalan dengan pergerakan feminisme. Ia mencoba membongkar ideologi patriarki yang masih berlangsung sampai dengan sekarang melalui karya-karyanya. Dalam kumpulan cerpen Lakon di Kota Kecil ditampilkan sosok wanita di dalam kehidupan keluarga dan sosial, posisi wanita di hadapan laki-laki, serta keluasan ruang publik. Ada dua puluh (20) judul cerpen yang dimuat dalam kumpulan cerpen Lakon di Kota Kecil. Semua cerita yang ada dalam cerpen tersebut sarat dengan nilai-nilai perjuangan wanita untuk mengembalikan hakikat kaumnya agar dianggap sebagai manusia yang mempunyai kedudukan sama dengan laki-laki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan citra wanita, relasi gender, dan budaya patriarki yang tercermin dalam kumpulan cerpen Lakon di Kota Kecil karya Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim. Metode / pendekatan yang digunakan adalah feminisme. Langkah kerja yang dilakukan peneliti, antara lain: membaca kumpulan cerpen tersebut, mengidentifikasi, dan menganalisis data. Dalam kumpulan cerpen Lakon di Kota Kecil ditemukan sebelas (11) cerpen dan dua puluh (20) cerpen menggambarkan wanita yang tunduk pada budaya patriarki, sedangkan sembilan (9) cerpen lainnya menentang budaya patriarki. Ideologi gender yang diterapkan oleh para tokoh dapat menguatkan budaya patriarki, dan menimbulkan ketidakadilan relasi gender. Sedangkan tokoh yang menentang budaya patriarki dapat memperoleh keadilan relasi gender. Dan perspektif feminis, di dalam teks cerpen dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut ada beberapa tokoh yang telah bebas dari tekanan luar untuk mengarahkan hidup sesuai dengan keinginan mereka sendiri, baik sebagai istri, ibu, maupun wanita karier.
