ANALISIS HUBUNGAN FAKTOR PETUGAS DENGAN RASIONALITAS PEMAKAIAN OBAT PENYAKIT ISPA PNEUMONIA PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS KOTA SEMARANG

Anaysis of Relationship between the Health Worker Factors and the Rationality of Using the Medicine for Pneumonia Acute Respiratory Tract Infection on Children Under Five Years Old at the Health Centers in Semarang City In Indonesia, pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection is a number one killer of children under five years old. To intervene ah increasing mortality rate on children under five years old because of pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection, it needs to give the rational medicines. The Health Worker must have a high education, a high knowledge, a high skill, and a high motivation. The aim of this research was to identify the relationship between the health worker factors and the rationality of using the medicines for pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection on children under five years old at the Health Centers in Semarang City. This was an observational research using cross sectional approach. Collecting of data used the closed questionnaire. The number of respondent was 93 persons. They were the health workers who treated pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection on children under five years old at the Health Centers in Semarang City. Processing and analyzing of data used univariate, and bivariate method by Chi Square test with a significance level on 0,05. The result of this research shows that the health worker factors which have the significant relationship with the rasionality of using the medicines for pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection on children under five years old at the Health Centers in Semarang City are the education, the training, the obedience of the health workers, and the health workers knowledge. The health worker factors which do not have the significant relationship with the rationality of using the medicines for pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection on children under five years old are the sex, the age, and the work period. Finally, it suggested to make policy of the health workers utilization efficiently, and a policy of alternative medicines use. It needs to give the training of the treatment rationality. It needs to increase a frequency of supervision. It needs to adds a number of statements about the treatment rationality in the standard operating procedure of pneumonia acute respiratory tract infection on children under five years old at the Health Center Di Indonesia ISPA pneumonia merupakan pembunuh balita nomor satu. Untuk menanggulangi semakin meningkatnya angka kematian balita karena ISPA pneumonia perlu dilakukan pengobatan dengan menggunakan obat yang rasional untuk itu dibutuhkan petugas pelaksana yang memiliki pendidikan, pengetahuan, kemampuan dan motivasi yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor petugas pelaksana pengobatan ISPA pneumonia pada balita dengan rasionalitas pemakaian obat penyakit ISPA pneumonia pada balita di Puskesmas Kota Semarang: Jenis penelitian observasional dengan metode survei dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner pada 93 orang responden yaitu seluruh petugas pelaksana pengobatan ISPA pneumonia pada balita di Puskesmas Kota Semarang. Data primer maupun sekunder diolah dan dianalisa dengan cara kualitatif serta kuantitatif dengan metode univariat dan bivariat, menggunakan uji chi square dengan metode enter. Signifikansi ditentukan dengan nilai p < 0,05. Analisis menggunakan program komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor petugas yang berhubungan dengan rasionalitas pemakaian obat penyakit ISPA pneumonia pada balita di Puskesmas Kota Semarang adalah pendidikan, pelatihan, kepatuhan petugas terhadap SOP pengobatan ISPA pneumonia pada balita, sementara yang tidak berhubungan adalah jenis kelamin, umur dan masa kerja. Sehingga disarankan untuk penerbitan tentang pendayagunaan tenaga yang ada untuk pengobatan ISPA penuomia, kebijakan tentang penggunaan obat alternatif, perlu pelatihan rasionalitas pengobatan, supervisi perlu ditingkatkan, penambahan item atau butir pernyataan tentang rasionalitas pengobatan pada item pernyataan dalam SOP pengobatan ISPA penuomnia pada balita di Puskesmas
