Background: Anemia decreases work productivity by 20 %. The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia male workers was 18-30 % and 30-46,6 % in their female counterparts. The prevention of anemia in female workers is an excellent way to improve work productivity. It can be conducted successfully if the risk factors which relate to anemia is determined. Purpose : This study was aimed to assess the association between subjects characteristics, nutrient and non nutrient intake, worm investation, menstruation and diarrhea with the occurrence of anemia in female workers.
