STUDI OPTIMASI TERMINAL PURWOREJO

The condition of Purworejo terminal, in this time, is not optimal. At a certain time when the incoming-out going traffics from public transportation is in peak, the decreases service of the terminal drastically. This degradation is followed traffic jam in way out and entrance, as the effect of the existence of traffic merging with current througout traffic from access road. This Problem is worsened by as terminal exit and entrance to be one (single inlet-outlet). These imply that an alternative solution is urgently needed to overcome the existing problem. This study is aimed to analys the performance of the Purworejo terminal specially related to publik transport of AKAP/AKDP both reguler and non reguler scheduled buses, and also to analys the possibility of the use of plan terminal model to optimize the performance of the exising one. Methods used in this study are as follows: traffic data is obtained from field survey or traffic counting; for analysis process using capacities method, queue method for facility in TPR, departure pool and arrival pool, and comparison method of performance between the existing model and the proped plan model. Based on the comparison of the terminal performance between the existing model and the proposed one followed by model 1 and model 2, it is found that : of circulates time of reduction 100.3 second for the bus of REGULER and 127.4 second for the bus of PATAS; reduction of queue length equal to 0,95 vehicle in TPR, on the contrary exist the increase of queue length in the pool of bus of reguler 2.19 vehicle and 0.26 vehicle for bus of PATAS, exist mean lay time efficiency in TPR equal to 1.6 second, on the contrary exist the increase of it in the Pool of bus of reguler equal to 1.266 second and in the pool of bus of PATAS equal to 108,2 second. Also, there is time delay efficiency equal to 1,3 second in TPR. But on the contrary the time delay is raised up in the Pool of bus of Reguler to 2,531.9 second and 216.3 second in the Pool of bus of PATAS. In the basis of the results, some recommendation can be addressed as follows: 1) better handling is needed to overcome the conflict points, length of circulation and the number of turned maneuver at the band of circulation, 2) it can be considered applying of layout model 2 alternatively handling for the Purworejo terminal in the futune. But for accuracy, applying of model 2 for the solution of Purworejo terminal requires furthermore study such as expenses or costing, and 3) the analysis in this studys focus only AKAP and AKDP buses and related facilities. A comprehenship research, like input influence of other transportation modes, is needed, to be used to references. Kondisi terminal Purworejo saat ini dirasa kurang optimal. Pada jam jamtertentu dimana lalu-lintas keluar masuk angkutan padat, pelayanan terminal menurun drastis. Penurunan ini diikuti dengan kemacetan di pintu keluar dan masuk akibat adanya pertemuan (merging) dengan arus menerus di jalan akses. Permasalahan ini lebih diperparah dengan menyatunya antara pintu masuk dan keluar terminal (single inlet-outlet). Semuanya menunjukan bahwa sudah saatnya dimunculkan solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi persoalan yang ada. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja terminal purworejo khususnya yang berkaitan dengan angkutan umum AKAP/AKDP baik reguler maupun patas, serta menganalisis kemungkinan optimasi kinerja tersebut dengan menggunakan model terminal rencana. Metode-metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah sebagai berikut: untuk pengambilan data digunakan metode survei kendaraan di kapangan atau traffic counting; untuk analisis digunakan metode analisis kapasitas ruang, metode antrian untuk fasilitas di TPR, pool pemberangkatan dan pool kedatangan, dan metode perbandingan kinerja antara model eksisting dan model rencana yang diajukan. Berdasarkan perbandingan antara kinerja terminal eksisting dan kinerja terminal setelah dioptimasi dengan mengikuti model 1 dan model 2 terdapat temuan sebagai berikut: adanya pengurangan waktu sirkulasi sebesar 100,3 detik untuk bus reguler dan 127,4 detik untuk bus PATAS; terjadi pengurangan panjang antrian sebesar 0,95 kendaraan di TPR, sebaliknya terjadi peningkatan panjang antrian di Pool bus reguler 2,19 kendaraan dan 0,26 kendaraan, terjadi efisiensi waktu tunggu rata-rata di TPR sebesar 1,6 detik, sebaliknya terjadi peningkatan di Pool bus reguler sebesar 1.266 detik dan di Pool bus PATAS sebesar 108,2 detik. Begitu juga terjadi efisiensi waktu tunda sebesar 1,3 detik di TPR. Namun sebaliknya terjadi peningkatan waktu tunda di Pool Reguler sebesar 2.531,9 detik dan 216,3 detik di Pool PATAS. Berdasarkan hasil-hasil tersebut dapat direkomendasikan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: 1) perlu adanya penanganan yang lebih baik untuk mengatasi titik konflik, panjangnya sirkulasi dan banyaknya manuver membelok pada jalur sirkulasi, 2) dapat dipertimbangkan penerapan layout model 2 sebagai alternatif penanganan untuk terminal purworejo di masa mendatang. Namun agar lebih akurat, penerapan model 2 untuk solusi terminal purworejo membutuhkan kajian lebih lanjut seperti masalah biaya, dan 3) analisis dalam studi ini hanya menitikberatkan pada kendaraan bus AKAP/AKDP dan fasilitas yang terkait dengannya. Untuk dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan perlu dilakukan penelitian yang lebih lengkap seperti memasukan pengaruh jenis angkutan lainnya dan bus yang tidak masuk terminal
