PENGELOLAAN AIR BERSIH RUMAH SAKIT SEBAGAI UPAYA MINIMISASI LIMBAH CAIR Studi kasus (Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Ungaran)

Hospital is the medical service institution, consist of preventive, curative, rehabilitative and also promotive aspects. The kind of pollutant energed by those activities are solid, water and gas pollutant that can make danger to health as well as enviroment. The clean water is the water that can be used to daily activities and requies the healthy quality, it also can be used as a drink water if it is already boiled. The problem appeared are the unappropiate treatment of clean water, the absences of hospital management and the hospital envirorhent treatment's prudence, and the are no person to manage the clean and pollutant water in hospital. The research takes place in General Hospital of Ungaran Region. The observation and research is conducted to the water use from outspatient installation, laboratory, kitchen and the corpse room located on the first floor, male and female in patient installation in Merpati Room located on the second floor and the center surgery installation located on the third floor. The research use flow meter set to each installations, to find out the use of water clean that will became the waste water. The research find that the high amount of water use in kitchen installation, while in patient installation the water use cannot be identified because the bathrooms are not distinguished between male and female bathrooms. The water use in out patient installation is high on Saturday, in center surgery inatallation the demand pf clean water is quite low because during the researdh there are not too many operations, the laboratory installation is using more water on Monday, the kitchen installation needs a large amount at Water for cooking and washing vegetables and cooking equip-deka while the water uaed in the corpse room is unknown because there are no corpses vVashes in the hospital. The research suggest the iitiportant of the using of clean water sitervision and the environiental expect to treat the pollutant emerged by hospital activities. The research also recommend the initiative water treatment in the center surgery installatiOn, labbratory. The researth also recommend the visiting time for patient, and also the reuse of the recycle water to shower the plants. Rumah sakit merupakan institusi pelayanan kesehatan dengan bidang preventif (pencegahan), kuratif (pengobatan), rehabilitatif maupun promotif. Jenis limbah yang ditimbulkan oleh kegiatan tersebut berupa limbah padat, limbah cair dan gas yang dapat membahayakan bagi kesehatan dan lingkungan. Air bersih adalah air yang dapat digunalcan untuk keperluan sehari-hari dan kualitasnya memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan dapat diminum apabila dimasalc Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengelolaan air bersih belum dilakukan dengan benar serta belum terdapatnya menajemen rumah sakit dan peraturan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan rumah sakit dan belum terdapatnya tenaga pengelola untuk air bersih maupuan air limbah rumah sakit. Lokasi penelitian di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Ungaran. Pengamatan dan penelitian dilakukan pada penggunaan air yang dihasilkan dari instalasi rawat jalan, laboratorium, laundry, dapur, kamar jenazah yang terletak pada lantai I, instalasi rawat Map perempuan clan laki-laki pada Ruang Merpati yang terletak pada lantai II serta pada Instalasi Bedah Sentral (IBS) pada lantai ifi. Alat yang digunakan yaitu flow meter yang dipasang pada masing-masing instalasi sehingga dapat diketahui penggunaan air bersih yang nantinya menja.di air buangan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pengelolaan air bersih belum dilakukan dengan benar hal ini terlihat pada Instalasi Rawat Jalan pada hal minggu sejumlah 75 liter. Masih terdapatnya kebocoran pada pipa instalasi air bersih serta dijimpainya air luber pada kamar mandi padahal lcamar mandi sedang tidak digunalcan. Belum terdapatnya tenaga ahli yang menangani Pengelolaan Air Bersih karena masih ditangani oleh tenaga dari IPSRS (Instalasi Sarana Prasarana Rumah Sakit). Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu: pemantauan dalam penggunaan air bersih dengan cara mengganti kran dengan ukuran yang lebih kecil. Menggunakan shower pada semua kamar mandi dengan harapan air bersih yang digunakan lebih sedikit, perlu penertiban jam kunjung pasier. sett?, 1--"" r---- ..1=;- untuk menyirami tanaman
