PENGARUN PARTISIPASI PEMAKAI TERHADAP KEPUASAN PEMAKAI, PENERIMAAN SISTEIM DAN KETIDAKPASTIAN TUGAS : SUATU TINJAUAN DUA FAKTOR KONTINJENSI

This study deals with arising weakness of impact user participation on success of information system development. The purpose this study don't solely concern user satisfaction as the only indicator toward the success of information system development, but so directed to examine two ruling factors on the success of information system development : systems acceptance and task uncertainty are considered the determining factors. In addition, the study includes two contingency factors, systems complexity and users involvement, as moderator variables in light with relationship. The Sample technique of purposive sampling with judgement. The final sample were 52 managers on functional department. Sample regression and Moderated Reggresion Analysis (MRA), by McKeen, et.al (1994) were used to analyze the data in this study. The result analyze shows that users participation is significantly related to users satisfactionm, systems acceptance and task uncertainty. Hypothesis examine on impact moderating variables result in quasi moderator on systems complexity and users involvement towards the relationship between users participation and users satisfaction as well as system acceptance. The relationship between users participation and task uncertainty of two variables is considered to be independent predictor variable. Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pengaruh adanya partisipasi pemakai pada keberhasilan pengembangan sistem informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini tidak hanya menguji kepuasan pemakai sebagai satu-satunya indikator keberhasilan pengembangan sistem informasi, tapi juga mencoba menguji dua indikator lain yaitu penerimaan sistem dan ketidakpastian tugas. Disamping itu juga mencoba memasukan dua factor kontinjensi yaitu kompleksitas sistem dan keterlibatan pemakai sebagai variabel moderating dalam hubungan tersebut. Teknik pengambilan sample dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan judgement. Hasil akhir sample berjumlah 52 manajer departemen fungsional. Regresi biasa dan Moderated Reggresion Analysis (MRA) yang telah dikembangkan McKeen et.al (1994) digunakan sebagai teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa partisipasi pemakai mempunyai hubungan yang positif dengan kepuasan pemakai, penerimaan sistem dan ketidakpastian tugas. Dan berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis terhadap pengaruh variabel moderating menunjukan bahwa kompleksitas sistem dan keterlibatan pemakai bersifat quasi moderator terhadap hubungan partisipasi pemakai dengan kepuasan pemakai dan penerimaan sistem. Sedangkan pada hubungan partisipasi pemakai dengan ketidakpastian tugas kedua variabel tersebut hanya bersifat variabel independent prediktor
