Acute bacterial sinusitis

Introduction: Acute bacterial sinusitis is one of the most common causes of reference to outpation clinics in all of the world and that id the most common complication result of viral common cold. The repeated use of antibiotics and appearing repeated sinusitis was caused that chose of effective antibiotics in cases were encountered with defect. Materials & Methods: This study done on 60 patients affected to acute bacterial sinusitis. In this study acute bacterial sinusitis is inflammation of paranasal sinuses and nose mocus layer more than 7 days and less than 30 days. After administeration of clarythromycin and amoxicillin that done accidental and fallow up the curement, improvement of symptoms and signs and safisfaction of curing disease, dtudied after 5 and 10 days. Results: According to this study from 30 patients rexeived clarythromycin, 26 patients in 10 days of cure, were recovered and 30 patients receved amoxicillin, 9 patients were recovered that according to stathistics test was marked that between result of responsing to two group significant relations were observed. Attention to more effective clarythr omycin in curement of acute bacterial sinusitis, this agent can be applicate as proper chose specially in cases that first line Antibiotics(Amoxicillin- Cotrimoxasol) don't response to this disease
