The normal modes of the Dirac eigenvalue spectrum are investigated in lattice QCD. We compare numerical results of lattice simulations to analytical predictions of chiral random matrix theory and obtain excellent agreement above a certain scale that is related to the boundary of the epsilon-regime of QCD
