Well-managed organizational memories have been emphasized in the\ud recent management literature as important sources for business success. Organizational\ud memory infonnation systems (OMIS) have been conceptualized as a framework\ud for information technologies to support these organizational memories. OMIS development\ud may include several projects and may take many years. This paper classifies\ud and analyzes OMIS development scenarios to provide guidance and support for OMIS\ud development. This includes the definition of the roles of participants, a work schedule,\ud and a definition of deliverables and deadlines.
