The objectives of this research are to determine the relationship between attitude towards mathematics, Emotional Quotient in social interaction on the classroom with mathematic achievement. The survey was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta with 80 respondent selected by random class sampling. The study reveals that there are positive relationship between: (a) attitude for mathe‐ matics and mathematic achievement; (b) Emotional Quotient in social interaction on the classroom and mathematic achievement.
