Abstract—In this paper, a heterogeneous multiscale method (HMM) based technique is applied to model the behaviour of electromagnetic fields in soft magnetic composites (SMC). Two problems are derived from the two-scale homogenization theory: a macroscale problem that captures the slow variations of the overall solution, and many mesoscale problems that allow determining the constitutive laws at the macroscale.
