This thesis is part of a design project conducted for the Nuon Solar Team. The goal of the project was to design a Maximum Power Point Tracker with a very high efficiency. The project has been conducted with a total of six persons, divided into three subgroups. This thesis describes the research, design and prototyping of the algorithms and other software run on the controller. We would like to thank dr.
