To investigate the ability to reduce the movement of the head while wearing the new cervical spine splint, compared to hard cervical collar and Philadelphia collar on healthy participants. METHODS Experimental study was performed during March 1, 2012 to May 2012 by simple random sampling for 34 male medical personnel (volunteers) in Roi-Et Hospital, to measure head movement in the supine position before and after wearing the cervical splints with a tape measure of anatomical landmark. RESULTS The new cervical spine splint could reduce rotation in horizontal plane (both left and right) and flexion/ extension better than hard cervical collar and Philadelphia collar.
