In this work, X-ray fluorescence was applied to analyze aerosol samples collected from indoor and outdoor atmosphere Sudan Mint Company in Khartoum industrial area. The collected X-ray spectra were analyzed using AXIL program. The concentration of Calcium, Chromium, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Bromine, and Lead were determined compared to the prepared standards. The accuracy of the results was crosschecked using Atomic Absorption Spectrometer. Various receptor models were used in aerosol source identification and apportionment.
