IV. CONCLUSION In this note, a new method is developed to test stability of piecewise discrete-time linear systems based on a piecewise Lyapunov function. It is shown that the stability can be determined by solving a set of LMIs. The approach can be extended to performance analysis of such systems as in [2] and [3] for their continuous counterparts.
