Generalizations of the Lagrange mean value theorem and applications

Abstract. In this paper we give a generalization of the Lagrange mean value theorem via lower and upper derivative, aswell as appropriate criteria ofmonotonicity and convexity for arbitrary function f: (a, b) → R.
