ABSTRACT (Mxilmum 200worws) The aim of this project was to obtain a more complete understanding of the physical phenomena occung in piezoelectric transducers, with the aim of obtaining optimal designs and improved manufacturability. Of key importance in design are conversion efficiency, bandwidth, and control of spurious modes. The transducer structures considered are 1:3, 0:3, 2:2, and 1:3:1.
