A s W E APPROACH the end of this century, the United States still has no cohesive and coordinated plan for pro-viding health care to its citizens. Problems of access for the medically indigent, millions of our working people without medical insurance, the untrammeled growth of technology, and the encroachments of for-profit entrepe-neurism are some of the issues that demand answers.
