DR. ALFRED GELLHORN: Today we discuss a group of diseases, the lym-phomas, various aspects of which are being productively investigated in many parts of the world. During our presentation we will introduce summaries of some phases of these investigations not only because they illuminate hitherto obscure facets of the lymphomas, but also because they have relevance to other malignant neoplastic diseases and increase our understanding of biologic phe-nomena in normal cells as well.
