This course is designed to provide students with basic concepts, theories and a practical knowledge of governance in connection with development context; in particular, socio-economic development. The course may introduce various concepts of governance, the importance and basic elements of governance, theories of growth-enhancing and market enhancing governance related to development, their empirical analysis, the KOICA governance program, the JICA governance program and the UNDP governance program.
