A literature review was conducted to identify factors leading to career indecision among adolescents and college students and to examine existing programs designed to assist such ' students in selecting careers. According to the literature, many practitioners view career indecision as a normal task of development whereas others see indecision as related to serious psychological problems such as anxiety, self-perceptual difficulties, and externalized attributions.
