ABSTRACT. An experimental design taietployed tp ass ss the impact of standardized tests on 47 secondgrade Irish teach rs',judgments of their 1,566 students. Teachers reAiving test results showed greater slifts'in their ratings of stadents than teachers,not-. receiving test results.'However, these shifts tended to.be in the.e poSAive directionand for only a stall number of students.
