Abstract: Corporate synergy often occurs sequentially to merger and acquisition of firms or harmonizing the organization’s component strategic units for value adding creation. Hence, the sum total of individual units becomes larger than the total individual sum, i.e. 2 + 2 =5, in order to take advantages accruable from finance, market, revenue and other attendant benefits. On the other hand, strategy in the context of organizational behaviour refers to the overall scope and direction of the company that form pathway through which component parts work in harmony to achieve the envisage goals in pursuance of its corporate vision and mission.
