A model of the SU(3)-symmetry violation is proposed based on the parafermion quark model, and also a paraboson fl with baryon number 2/3, charge 1/3 and hypercharge 2/~1 is introduced. The symmetry violating interaction is assumed to be trilinear in the paraboson {} and quarks. The D-type mass difference of the baryon octet is shown to result from the pair correlation of quarks in the baryon. Schwinger's sum rule for vector mesons and a new one for pseudoscalar mesons (m'12+m7t2+mx2) (4m~c2-m'ff2) =6m~c4+3m'12mi, which is in good agreement with the experiments, are obtained with some further assumptions. The successes of the SU (3) symmetry1), 2) and the subsequent works in the SU (6) symmetry"), 4) suggest us that ...
