Of late, the Indian economy is booming by leaps and bounds, mainly powered by the service sector. In turn, Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Service (ITES) industries are the prime movers of the service sector. Although these two industries are somewhat related, they differ in significant ways. In addition, a large number of women are entering workforce, posing new challenges for organizations in managing diversity at the workplace.
