ANTICOAGULANT therapy is becoming increasingly important in the pre-vention and treatment of thrombo-embolic disease. Various investigators, in a search for an "ideal anticoagulant/ ' have expressed preferences for one or the other of several drugs of this type which are available commercially or experimentally.
