The classroom activities presented in the document were designed by primary teachers in the Anchorage Borough School District for field-testing and evaluation in the 12 elementary schools in the Exemplorary Career Education Project. The activities, for grades K-3, are arranged under the following areas: self-knowledge and interpergonal relations, work, leisure, planning and decision making, community involvement, basic studies and occupational preparation, and discovering Anchorage. Information on each activity includes: grade; subject; concept; developmental goal; objective; learning activities, including descriptions andf procedures; materials and resources necessary; and occupations to.explore, where applicable. A 21-page bibliography suggestslmaterials for career education and includes titles under the followifig categories: books, 17 pages; 5 super eight film loops; 11 cassettes; 26 filmstrips; 5 film strip and Cassette; (4-fil.m strip and sound;
