A didelphys uterus consists of two uterine horns, two separate cervices, and two vaginas, or an incomplete vaginal septum.1 The cause of con-genital uterine malformations may be due to arrested development of the Mullerian ducts, fail-ure of fusion, or failure of resorption of the median septum, resulting in many anatomical variants.2 The incidence of any form of a Mullerian duct abnormality is believed to be less than 5%.3 The true prevalence in the general population is unknown because most congenital uterine malfor-mations are asymptomatic. Many cases are not diagnosed unless a woman seeks clinical treatment for gynecological complications, such as infertil-ity or recurrent pregnancy loss.
