In many parts of the world, rural-to-urban migration and expanding urbanization have been significantly associ-ated with the spread of HIV (Gupta, Vaidehi, & Majumder, 2010). Some qualitative studies of Asian mobile popula-tions such as young migrant workers in Nepal (Puri & Cleland, 2006); heterosexual Asian and Indian migrant men in the United States (Bhattacharya, 2005); and sin-gle, young, homosexual, rural migrants in Beijing and Shanghai, China (Hong et al., 2006; Kong, 2008) have indicated that a substantial proportion of men engaged in risky sex, whereas few considered themselves at risk of sexually transmitted infection (STI) or HIV/AIDS.
