The purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not IPE fosters positive attitudes and dispels negative stereotypes among first-year health care students and to quantify those attitudes and stereotypes in order to ascertain how those stereotypes and strength of professional identity may affect their readiness for interprofessional learning. Means and standard deviations were calculated for each subscale in both the pre- and post-test scores as well as for the change scores.
