In this paper, based on k-record values from the two parameters of the exponential distribution, the maximum likelihood and Bayes esti-mators for the unknown parameters are obtained. Bayes estimates are obtained based on the squared error loss functions. The occurrence of future k-record values based on observed k-record values from the two parameters of the exponential distribution is considered. Predic-tion, either point or interval, for future k-record values are derived from Bayesian view point. Some non-Bayesian results can be obtained as limiting cases from our results
