Abstract — Recently, virtual labs have become ubiquitous in science and engineering education. Virtual labs enable students to repeatedly carry out experiments in a safe environment during lessons. A virtual laboratory is a computing system that allows to share the physical resources available in a laboratory with remote users connected on the internet. Our paper describes a particular virtual laboratory environment for uploading and downloading a file over the internet through a standard web browser. Using the proposed approach, a remote user can connect to the virtual lab, upload a file when he is not present physically or download a file which he has left in the middle and can add or delete or edit any other content for any of the experiments in their academic cycle through out the four years. With a virtual laboratory, the student users control the pace, frequency, and time of the experiment. Also, distance learners can participate
