Acute biliary pancreatitis (ABP) a condition caused by gallstones; can be a life-threatening condition if not treated early (mortality ~2-7%). Complications and symptoms of ABP can be ranging from mild (nausea, vomiting, and fever) to severe (necrosis, infections, hemorrhage, abscesses, renal failure, and adult respiratory distress syndrome). Th is paper presents a specifi c case of a middle-aged male diagnosed with ABP to illustrate the disease in a clinical setting, mainly looking at its presentation, diagnosis and focusing more on treatment and management.
