Rates of breastfeeding initiation, duration, and exclusivity vary dramatically, depending on barriers faced by specific populations of mothers. One barrier to initiation and maintenance of breastfeeding is lack of access to expert lactation support. Newly Expressed A novel approach to reducing this barrier is to use webcam technology to connect lactation experts to mothers who do not have access to a lactation expert.
