Electrodeposition of rhenium-cobalt and rhenimn-iron alloys from an aqueous am-moniacal citrate solution is described. Tim effects of bath composition, pH, tempera-ture, and current density on cathode current efficiency and composition of the alloy deposit were studied. A rhcnimn-eobalt solution, containing 60 g/1 of CoSO~. 7H20, 10 g/1 of KReOd, 66 g/l of citric acid, and NH.~OH to pH 7, when electrolyzed at 5 ~mp/dm 2 and 70 ~ gave a cathode deposit containing 75 per cent rhenium with a current efficiency of about 85 per cent.
