Studying programming is complicated and time consuming, especially for beginners. According to our experience, learning programming techniques can be troublesome for many under-graduate engineering, computer science and information technology students. Previous research has shown promising results when using game-based solutions to support learning of programming concepts. The existing solutions have used mainly competitive contest and embed educational points to motivate students to learn programming.
