Methanol oxidation on a smooth polycrystalline platinum electrode is studied by dynamic electrochemical impedance spectroscopy at el-evated temperatures employing an autoclave setup. By utilizing cus-tom written software, impedance spectra for all applied electrode po-tentials are calculated. By increasing the temperature and/or sweep rate, it is shown that the region with three adsorbed species disap-pears, which is interpreted as less contribution of the parallel path-way at higher temperatures
