Abstract: Background: HIV/AIDS infection is currently a major challenge for the world especially for the developing nations. Different scholars reported that infection prevalence is higher among substance abusers. Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted at Gore Health Center, Ethiopia. A total of 256 samples collected from patients visiting PICT center for HIV/AIDS test. The data were gathered through interview with the respondents and the HIV test results were recorded in the laboratory through investigating the blood sample of respondents at PICT.
