He has carried out research and published ex-tensively in the field of environmental psychology. His research interests include symbolism, appropriation of space, identity, sustainability, and environmental management. EMILIA MORENO has a Ph.D. in social psychology and M.Sc. in environmental intervention from the University of Barcelona. She is an environmental psychologist at a private environmental consultancy company. She has conducted research on en-vironmental management systems and created several instruments for social environ-mental impact assessment and organizational aspects of environmental auditing. At present she is a lecturer in the master’s degree program on Environmental Interven-tion: People, Society and Management at the University of Barcelona. JOAN GUÀRDIA, Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Barcelona, has been professor of methodology of behavioral sciences since 1987. Dr. Guàrdia’s related academic activities involve the field of statistical data analysis for psychology and in-clude several scientific publications on the topics of multivariate data analysis, espe-cially structural equation models, and applied statistical data analysis. LUPICINIO ÍÑIGUEZ, Ph.D., is a professor of social psychology at the Autono-mous University of Barcelona. His main research field is qualitative methodology, especially discourse analysis. He has also conducted research on political psychol-ogy, environmental psychology, social representation theory, and social influence. H
