For home parenteral nutrition (HPN) patients and their families, the use of evidence-based guidelines based on research and expert consensus provides the best chance of quality patient outcomes. Before out-comes of clinical guidelines can be measured, there must first be a confirmation that guidelines are being used in the care and treatment of HPN patients
