ABSTRACT: This article discusses pertinent music therapy services for clients with alcoholism. Based upon a review of both the available alcoholism literature and music therapy literature, a general program format and individual goals are suggested. Selected topics include: group identity and cohesiveness, self-awareness, stress reduction, and the expression of feelings and emotions. Together with Part I: An Overview of the Addiction, there two articles provide a brief intro duction and review of appropriate music therapy services for people with alcoholism.
