Background: There is considerable interest in alternative approaches for eradication of infections causes by pathogenic bacteria especially resistant bacteria. Methanol and ethanol extracts of Rumex alveollatus leaves were evaluated for in vitro antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains.
