This study examlned alumni givillg as related to undergraduate involvement, student housing, academic success, and satisfaction with the education received. Two 'tundred alumni donors from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale's College of Education were surveyed, witi a 70 % response rate. ihe study found that alumni donors had not been as involved in extra-curricular activities as non-donors and that on-campus residence halls and communir:, rental units had been the most common housing arrangements, though an unexpectedly high percent of respondents indicated they had lived with their parerts or at home and commuted.
