Two papers from a Houston seminar on the concept of adaptive behavior provide a review of adaptive behavior measures and a discussion of Jane Mercer's assessment model. Tables present information on administration and content of eight measures: the American Association on Mental Deficiency (AAMD) Clinical, and AAMD School, Caine-Levine, California Preschool, Camelot, Mercer ABIC, Preschool Attainment Record, and The Vineland Social Maturity Scale.
