We have theoretically investigated the time evolution of electron emission from a quantum dot (QD) to an electrode by the non-equilibrium Green’s function technique. We found that the emitted current behavior depends sensitively on the relative position of the energy level of the QD to the Fermi level of the electrode and on the amplitude of gate voltage applied to the QD
