Three events that happened recently made me think ofmen in nursing and the related effects of this growing phenomenon. First, I was interviewed recently by a reporter of a local newspaper in Las Vegas about a story on men in nursing. Second, I was asked to talk about men in American nursing with a group of male nursing students at Kyunpook National University during my recent trip to Korea. Third, I noted an increasing number of male students in the freshmen class of Bengbu Medical College Department of Nursing in China during my recent trip to the school.
