Six clinical isolates, taken from blood or wounds, that had biochemical characteristics most similar to Centers for Disease Control group DF-3 bacteria were examined for cellular fatty acid composition and isoprenoid quinone content to evaluate their chemical relatedness to known bacterial species and groups.
