ABSTRACT. The study presents results of investigations on morphological variation of Anthemis tinctoria from the most abundant site in the Wielkopolska region. The analysis included morpho-logical characters of shoots, flowers and fruits. As a result of the study among other things new numerical data were recorded of characters previously not included in Floras or botanical keys. The analysed phytocenoses with Anthemis tinctoria represent the dynamic-succession stage of overgrowing perennial fallows. They reflect the mosaic character of overgrown sites, manifested in the occurrence of species from numerous syntaxonomic groups
