In the recent research the OPERA collaboration has reported the observation of superluminal neutrinos. They did not state what exact value they used as the speed of light c, but we could safely assume that in accordance to the SI system it was 299,792,458 m/s. In the following research A.G. Cohen and S. L. Glashow showed that “superluminal neutrinos would lose energy rapidly via the bremsstrahlung of electron-positron pairs ” and that “most of the neutrinos would have suffered several pair emissions en route”.
