This document presents one module in a set of training resources for trainers to use with parents and/or professionals serving children with disabilities; focus is on rights and responsibilities in the Individualized Education Program,IEP) process. The modules stress content and activities that t',Aild skills and offer resources to promote parent-professional collaboration. Each training module takes about 2 hours to deliver. The module guide has eight sections: a publicity flyer, topic narrative, overview, trainer agenda, activities, summary, bibliography, and evaluation. Introductory information explains how to use the modules including conducting a needs assessment, planning the training, selecting the training module, implementation, evaluation, and followup.
